Every row is gaming-class, every generation is represented once or twice, and the pricing follows the same clean annual staircase as MSI's other lines — the difference is what you get at each step in a slimmer package.

The configuration spread

The CPU mix is premium-mainstream: Core i7 (10 configurations), Core i9 (8), Core Ultra 9 (5) and Ryzen AI (4), from the 11800H era to today's Core Ultra 9 386H. The GPU ladder is the draw: RTX 4060 and 4070 (six rows each) dominate the middle years, RTX 4050 carries five of the thinner chassis, and the newest machines move to RTX 5060, 5070 and 5070 Ti hardware. The staircase is regular: $590 in 2021 (GS66/GS76), $737 in 2022 (GS66/GS77), $922 across the four-model 2023 Studio cohort, $1,152 for the 2024 AI Studio pair, $1,440 for the three 2025 machines, and $1,800 for the single 2026 Stealth 16 AI+. Two observations matter. The 2023 cohort is uniform — all four rows pair H-series CPUs with the RTX 4050, so screen size is the only real choice at $922. Which one to buy

The value pick of the series is the Stealth GS77 (2022, $737, Core i7 12700H + RTX 3070 8GB) — a 17-inch thin chassis with an upper-mid GPU at 2021 money. The Stealth 16 Studio or 17 Studio (2023, $922, Core i7 13620H/13700H + RTX 4050) is the flat-tier mainstream choice, with the Stealth 14 Studio (2023, $922) as the compact variant. One generation up, the Stealth 14 AI Studio (2024, $1,152, Core Ultra 9 185H + RTX 4050) is the thin-14 flagship. For maximum GPU, the Stealth A18 AI+ (2025, $1,440, Ryzen AI 9 365 + RTX 5070 Ti 12GB) is the top value — and it out-GPUs the 2026 Stealth 16 AI+ ($1,800, Core Ultra 9 386H + RTX 5060) by a full tier for $360 less.
