The EliteBook 640 G11 (2023, $678, Core Ultra 5 125H) brings Meteor Lake at a mid-tier ask. For rock-bottom budgets, the EliteBook 745 G5 (2018, $238, Ryzen 7 2700U) is a quad-core legacy unit that still handles documents and browsing. And in 2025, the plain EliteBook 6 G1i ($983, Core Ultra 5 235U) undercuts its own 13" and 16" siblings by $161 — worth checking before paying the flat $1,144.
